Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts, ensure data accuracy and supporting documents compliance.
- Maintain balance sheet schedules and perform the month-end and year-end close process
- Prepare financial statements and financial reports, analyze financial data and provide financial recommendations
- Assist with sales billing, AR collection and AP payments, as well as expenses reimbursement in Concur
- Prepare and declare taxes on a timely manner
- Assist with annual audits and tax returns
- Collaborating with other departments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support
Knowledge & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related major
- Proficient in accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowing SAP is a plus
- Proficiency in spoken English, Chinese and Bahasa Malay
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
- Strong attention to detail
