Purpose of Position (Summary):

This position is responsible for the execution of MSA’s FP Systems and Solutions Sales strategy in Rest Of Asia (RoA) and related product, sales development, and “go to market” tactics. This position will drive a consistent regional approach and methodology for our sales initiatives across the FP business development spectrum. This position is responsible for building a comprehensive business (Energy and Marine/Offhsoresec tors - Fall Protection Solutions) in RoA, and growing our position into a market share leader, among the major OGP. In this role, the incumbent will focus on driving strategic opportunities with key focus on the strategic end-users while clearly communicating MSA’s value proposition.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy/plan for growing MSA’s products into RoA
  • Identify new business opportunities and ways of penetrating target markets
  • Develop strategic relationships with targeted customers through a direct interface
  • Manage interactions with current and future customers
  • Develop a strategic pipeline for strategic accounts and target them as opportunities for growth
  • Develop a standardized process for selling the vision of MSA to strategic partners as a key driver for growth
  • Develop and foster deep relationships with key influencers for strategic accounts
  • Grow market share by identifying opportunities to obtain competitive conversions and new growth within the Fall Protection market, segments such as Wind, Oil & Gas, and Industries, while working across RoA to grow integrator network revenues.
  • Collaborate with MSA’s training departments to ensure Sales and Marketing leadership, Field Sales teams and Customer service departments have adequate knowledge of product for target markets to successfully execute our strategy.
  • Deliver product sales training to end clients, Channel partner sales organizations and Integrators.
  • Having a high level of product knowledge across ranges
  • Identify and exploit key opportunities to ‘cross sell’ other MSA products and services
  • Maintain day to day contact with other MSA sales associates to ensure effective communication, drive sales efficiency and maximize sales revenue per sales visit made.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of sales experience / key account management
  • Strong understanding of current industry technical standards and practices
  • Proven business development and account management track record
  • Experience in developing business with End Users and regional partners
  • Experience in building, maintaining and growing customer networks
  • Experience in developing and executing successful sales and go to market strategies
