Our client is the first, and the fastest growing, e-commerce company, focusing on Beauty and Personal Care products, in Indonesia. They have established themselves as the #1 skincare brand in the two largest Indonesian e-commerce and modern trade stores.

Our client is currently expanding into the Malaysian market, and they are looking for a channel development lead who can develop e-commerce growth strategies, managing and maintain e-commerce platforms and tracking e-commerce performance at their office in Petaling Jaya

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement channel sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and recruit new channel partners.
  • Manage relationships with existing partners to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Provide training and support to channel partners.
  • Monitor and analyze channel performance and provide regular reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align channel strategies with business objectives.
  • Develop marketing programs and campaigns to support channel sales.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with channel partners.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
  • Manage channel budgets and allocate resources effectively.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for channel sales.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop joint sales strategies.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on channel development activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a -related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in channel sales or business development.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets through indirect channels.
  • Strong understanding of channel sales strategies and partner management, (especially in health and beauty retail).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in developing and executing marketing programs.
  • Knowledge of the industry and market trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
