Our client is the first, and the fastest growing, e-commerce company, focusing on Beauty and Personal Care products, in Indonesia. They have established themselves as the #1 skincare brand in the two largest Indonesian e-commerce and modern trade stores.
Our client is currently expanding into the Malaysian market, and they are looking for a channel development lead who can develop e-commerce growth strategies, managing and maintain e-commerce platforms and tracking e-commerce performance at their office in Petaling Jaya
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement channel sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and recruit new channel partners.
- Manage relationships with existing partners to maximize sales opportunities.
- Provide training and support to channel partners.
- Monitor and analyze channel performance and provide regular reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align channel strategies with business objectives.
- Develop marketing programs and campaigns to support channel sales.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with channel partners.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
- Manage channel budgets and allocate resources effectively.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for channel sales.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop joint sales strategies.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on channel development activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a -related field.
- 3+ years of experience in channel sales or business development.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets through indirect channels.
- Strong understanding of channel sales strategies and partner management, (especially in health and beauty retail).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in developing and executing marketing programs.
- Knowledge of the industry and market trends.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
