Country Sales Manager
Our client is one of digital solutions covering capital markets, financial technology and blockchain services, currently they are looking for Country Sales Manager as newly created role to Identify opportunities and generate client leads for structured products and solutions to corporates and institutions in global markets
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be part of a small dynamic team to build the next generation enterprise grade blockchain applications for the financial industry by planning with CCO a phased approach in building a full digital capital markets business across and not limited to fixed income, funds, structured products, private equity, real estate
- Collaborating with operations team to help build product payment, settlement, workflow processes and governance framework management
- Reporting directly to Chief Commercial Officer based in Singapore and run all aspects of the sales and business development process, from lead identification and qualification to developing deep market analyses
- Exploring new revenue models, and creating strategic business partnerships in Thailand
- Build and manage a team once successfully onboarded a pipeline of clients and deals. Set budget, coverage and product distribution guidelines for the team
- Maintain and expand a network of Thai clients, advising on the products and services to the extent permitted under Thai securities regulations and make the relevant introductions to internal sales channels based in Singapore.
- Collaborate with the CCO and CEO to develop and implement a sales strategy for structured products consistent with the company’s overall sales strategy, goals, and objectives
- Maintain an understanding of the full range of Digital Markets products for effective client presentations
- Keep detailed records of sales activities, including call meeting notes, prospective client contacts, and progress against targets, and maintain a robust pipeline of business plans and opportunities
- Meet key financial deliverables around revenue, growth, and other financial goals set by the company
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and follow regulatory and company policies, staying updated on market developments
Skills/ Experience
- Master/ bachelor’s degree in finance, Accountancy, Business Management, Economics
- Minimum 10 years of client acquisition experience particularly in Malaysia, with a solid understanding of and exposure to financial products within asset management or securities industries
- To provide corporate finance advisory, capital raising, risk mitigation, investments and promote and sell the company’s custodian services
- Financial Institutions includes banks, insurance companies, hedge funds, real money accounts, central banks, sovereign wealth funds.
- To build brand awareness in the industry and help in the marketing of our vision
You should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with problem-solving skill. Intellectual curiosity, strong professional judgment, work independently and have initiative mindset.
