The primary purpose of this position is to provide technical support in the day‐to‐day implementation of company’s field technical support requirements and to provide back up to the Technical Manager as needed. This shall be achieved through the incumbent being a member of a multi‐functional process team with specific authority, accountability and responsibility for the attainment of stringent equipment and process performance goals.

- Assist the Technical Manager to provide reports where appropriate standards and KPIs are reviewed and maintained.
- Assist the Technical Manager on special projects driven by customer needs and regional requirements.
- Support and Back up Functions to Technical Manager (product training, technical issues, best practices etc.)
- Fully co-ordinate incident handling and follow-up with third party suppliers until closure.
- Ensure regular contact with operational depots to monitor adherence to Standard Operating Manuals and audit procedures.
- Send out equipment manuals as required to depots in the area and ensure documentation is up to date.
- This role will entail travel in the area to visit depots / service providers and customers to support sale and customer service.
- Fully trained on equipment types / fitting and all aspects DHL Ocean Bulk products (detailed knowledge of the Flexi Tank industry in particular)
- Required skills: Computer skills, database and spreadsheet applications
- Required competencies: Analytical, Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of Field Technical Processes
