Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Executive, Accounts role located in Subang Jaya. The Executive, Accounts will be responsible for managing financial accounts, preparing financial statements, conducting financial analysis, and overseeing budgeting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and financial projections.
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights to management on financial performance.
Accounting and Bookkeeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts and ledgers (e.g., general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable) Process invoices, invoice and delivery order verifications, and ensure payments are received and processed correctly.
- Record and reconcile financial transactions such as invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses.
- Monitor cash flow and manage bank transactions, ensuring proper accounting treatment.
- Support the preparation and submission of e-invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Compliance and Auditing:
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., tax laws, financial reporting standards).
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and reports as required.
Tax Management:
- Prepare and file tax returns (corporate tax, SST etc.) in a timely manner.
- Maintain awareness of tax regulations and ensure the company complies with all relevant tax obligations.
Payroll and Employee Benefits:
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring that employee salaries and benefits are calculated accurately.
- Manage employee reimbursements and ensure timely processing of expense claims.
Budgeting & Financial Planning:
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and long-term financial plans.
- Monitor the performance of various departments against the budget and assist in cost control measures..
Financial System Management:
- Assist in the implementation and management of accounting software or ERP systems.
- Ensure that financial data is entered accurately and that the system is optimized for efficient financial management.
- Education: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is usually required. A professional certification like ACCA, CPA, or CMA is a plus.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g.,SQL, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge: Understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, financial regulations, and audit procedures.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to manage large amounts of financial data with accuracy and precision.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting financial information to internal stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
