Job scope
- Prepare monthly consolidated group accounts, financial and management reports, quarterly reports, and yearly audited accounts, including analyzing trends and variances.
- Handle corporate tax matters, including reviewing tax computations and corresponding processes.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax agents.
- Maintain proper financial and management accounting records.
- Establish effective internal control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, company policies, and related regulatory/statutory requirements.
- Supervise, guide, and coach junior finance and accounts personnel in their respective job functions.
- Handle special/ad hoc projects assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, MICPA, CPA).
- A minimum of 7–10 years of working experience at the managerial level.
- Prior involvement with LSE-listed compliance work and experience in multinational corporations (MNCs) are preferable.
- Audit experience in a Big 4 or medium-sized audit firm is preferred.
- Experience in project management and managing complex stakeholders is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards is required.
- Demonstrates good supervisory, planning, and organizational skills.
- Meticulous with strong analytical skills in managing financial data.
