SENIOR PLANNER / PLANNER (FPSO)
Responsibilities:
- Under the supervision of the Lead Planner, prepares and maintains the Master Project Schedule with the required level of detail using established tools and methodologies.
- Understands the technical scope of work, including the sequencing and duration of major activities.
- Provides reports, "look-aheads," critical path analysis, "what-if" scenarios, and other relevant tools to support planning and schedule analysis.
- Develops, maintains, and updates S-Curves and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in MS Excel to monitor progress and prepare reports.
- Writes narrative descriptions for relevant reports, including weekly and monthly updates for the client, and consolidates inputs from various disciplines for review by the project management team.
- Reviews and evaluates the submitted Level 4 schedules from all contractors, including their progress measurement systems.
- Tracks and monitors the progress of the project across all stages, including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and installation.
- Implements and monitors the schedules for each project stage, ensuring the entire project progresses to completion and close-out.
- Identifies and utilizes opportunities to optimize resource allocation to execute and organize project activities more efficiently.
- Ensures that contractor deliverable timelines are clearly defined and tracked to prevent or minimize delays.
Requirements:
- 8 years of planning experience in the oil and gas industry, or
- 12 years of planning experience in other industries with a strong understanding of oil & gas processes and FPSO projects.
- Knowledge of project management, risk management, and change management processes.
- Previous experience in a senior role is preferred.
