As the Supply Chain Excellence Manager – QSE (Quality, Safety & Environment),

You will spearhead initiatives in performance management, KPI tracking, continuous improvement, productivity, and new product development. You’ll drive the adoption of best practices in supply chain operations, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business objectives within the Quality, Safety & Environment (QSE) portfolio.

What you will be doing:

Performance Management & KPI

  • Supervise and monitor the performance management & KPI for QSE Department. This include conducting KPI audit on regular basis ensuring the correct definition and measurement metrics are used for reporting.
  • Review and closely monitor accuracy and timeliness of reporting done in QSE Department.
  • Organize and do appropriate communication to the team on results achievement.
  • Assist in developing and aligning QSE Department KPI in accordance with yearly Budget and management direction.

Supply Chain Excellence, Productivity and Continuous Improvement

  • Lead QSE projects & ensuring execution is done as per the planned timeline.
  • Ensure Supply Chain Excellence methodologies are properly implemented in daily operations that includes RCA, PDCA, visual management and short interval management. Become the housekeeper of performance and productivity methodology & standards for QSE Department.
  • Coach and engage team members to drive the team to accomplish business objectives.
  • Conduct analysis & observation to reduce non-value-added activities in QSE Department.
  • Analyze and identify areas for productivity savings in QSE Department.
  • Supervise and monitor the productivity commitment in achieving the targets set in Supply Chain.
  • Identify areas for digitalization opportunity in QSE Department.
  • Lead the supply chain excellence program and continuous improvement initiatives in QSE Department.
  • Be the contact person with global or regional Supply Chain community on data gathering, benchmarking exercise, knowledge sharing, etc.
  • Responsible for process and hygienic validation of the plant; Validation & verification of CCP, Critical Processes; or any change of process validation.

New Product Development

  • Lead new product development ensuring execution is done as per the planned timeline.
  • Ensure execution of trial to be conducted successfully by ensuring proper planning and coordination among Planning, Manufacturing, Warehouse and QSE team.

People Capability

  • Lead and maintain the skill matrix implementation for QSE Department, including identifying and documenting the required skills and competencies of team members.
  • Lead the QSE training program for SIMA Supply Chain including digitalization and development of training modules.

Qualifications

You will need to have:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 5-6 years in supply chain management, preferably in FMCG and manufacturing.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving expertise.
  • Knowledge of supply chain methodologies, project management, and digital tools.
