Process Mechanical Engineer

- Provide process and mechanical engineering support to production, create manufacturing procedure, drawing and interface with ERP system.
- Lead continuous product/process improvements for cost savings, quality/yield improvement.
- Conduct root cause analysis and performs failure analysis for production processes and mechanical related issues.
- Plan and execute engineering qualification via mechanical, environmental and/or other reliability testing.
- Perform mechanical design analysis and FEA simulation for any new product development or product reliability enhancement.
- Participate in any products transfer, outsourcing, resourcing, special handling and/or NPI project.
- Familiar with process routing for proper standard product costing and manufacturing lead time roll up.
- BOM setup for material supply chain triggering and proper inventory backflush.
- Understand ISO requirements and execute the Engineering change process for proper engineering change documentation.
- Responsible for Non-Performance quality issue, OBE from customers for quality improvement.
- Identify and participate in projects focuses on Manufacturing Modernization, Automated System and cost-effective operations.
- Execute Manufacturing Automation and Robotics projects, focus on Cobot Automation and development of software, applications, and tools for Automation system.
- Perform other assignments and responsibilities as required.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Material, Industrial, Mechatronics) or related discipline.
- Experience in CAD tools, multi-physics simulation skill (preferred ANSYS) and dimensional analysis (GD&T, tolerance stack up).
- Knowledge in dynamics and vibrations, fatigue analysis or tribology will be added advantage.
- Experience in the field of Automation and Robotics is an added advantage with the following knowledge: Artificial Intelligence/Deep Learning, IoT, Cloud Computing and Database, Web/App development, Image Processing.
