Job Description:

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and market growth.
  • Establish goals and monitor progress toward achieving sales targets.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to refine sales
  • strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Business Director to align sales initiatives with the
  • company's overall business goals.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Lead the identification and acquisition of new clients, ensuring a strong sales pipeline.
  • Negotiate contracts, closing deals that align with company’s business and financial objectives.
  • Represent company at industry events and conferences to promote brand awareness and build client networks.

Sales Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, setting clear objectives and expectations.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development to the team.
  • Ensure the team’s activities are aligned with company goals and that each member meets their individual targets.

Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to drive lead generation efforts and create marketing materials that support sales goals.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and forecasts to the executive team.
  • Collaborate with the operations and technical teams to ensure smooth service delivery for new clients.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce).

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field. A Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within the IT, cloud services, or data Center industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth. • Experience managing high-level client relationships and negotiating large-scale contracts.
