Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Specialist to join our team at Forest Cloud. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires hands-on experience, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Equipment Installation and Setup:
  2. Install, configure, and set up machinery and technical equipment according to the manufacturer's specifications and company standards.
  3. Maintenance and Repairs:
  4. Perform regular maintenance and routine inspections on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  5. Diagnose technical issues and carry out repairs promptly to minimize downtime.
  6. Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:
  7. Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in equipment and provide effective solutions.
  8. Use diagnostic tools and software to assess and resolve equipment malfunctions.
  9. Inventory and Spare Parts Management:
  10. Maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools required for repair and maintenance tasks.
  11. Order replacement parts as needed and manage stock levels efficiently.
  12. Safety Compliance:
  13. Ensure all equipment and repair procedures comply with safety standards and regulations.
  14. Follow safety protocols when working with machinery and tools to prevent accidents.
  15. Documentation and Reporting:
  16. Keep accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and equipment performance.
  17. Provide detailed reports on completed work, including technical findings and recommendations.
  18. Collaboration and Communication:
  19. Work closely with other departments to understand their technical needs and provide solutions.
  20. Communicate effectively with team members and management to keep them informed of equipment status.
  21. Continuous Improvement:
  22. Stay updated on the latest technology and equipment advancements.
  23. Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.
Key Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a technician in a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairs. Preferably with expertise in electrical work and repairs.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and provide clear technical reports.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in maintenance and repair work.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work outside regular hours and during public holiday when needed to resolve urgent issues.
