Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Freight Forwarder at MJ Logistics located in Bukit Raja. The Freight Forwarder will be responsible for tasks such as:

  • Oversee and manage freight forwarding operations, ensuring efficient handling of shipments and logistics processes
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize shipping routes, reduce costs, and improve service delivery
  • Coordinate with carriers, customs authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with trade regulations
  • Supervise and support the freight forwarding team, providing guidance and resolving operational challenges
  • Negotiate contracts and freight rates with shipping lines, airlines, and transport providers for cost efficiency
  • Monitor shipment tracking, address delays or disruptions, and ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Analyze operational performance, generate reports, and provide recommendations for process improvements
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing inquiries and offering customized logistics solutions
  • Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and cost control to enhance profitability in freight operations
  • Support senior management in decision-making, business expansion, and overall supply chain strategies
