Hasbro Malaysia is currently hiring for a Key Account Manager to join our Commercial Team. This role will report to the Sr. Sales Manager.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Responsibilities
- Outline the strategic roadmap to achieve the Channel vision.
- Liaison with the Global & Regional Key Account Management Teams to replicate relevant best practices in Malaysia.
- Identify, prioritise & explore new areas of opportunity beyond current organizational thinking.
- Working with the key customers in strategic joint business planning & business reviews.
Managerial Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison and primary point of contact for Key Customers.
- Lead daily commercial negotiations with Customers.
- Identify opportunities to leverage & drive Hasbro’s business within the channel.
- Build best-in-class presence of Hasbro Brands instore.
- Build superior shopper experiences instore including proper assortment planning, best-in-class instore visibility, effective promotions & events planning & execution.
- Build, execute & track business plans in line with JBP, Quarterly & Annual calendars.
- Co-anchor Omnichannel engagements with the Key Account’s eCommerce Team.
Cross-functional Responsibilities
- Work closely with the (Brand / Digital) Marketing & Trade Marketing Teams to design, plan, budget, sync, execute & track impact of campaigns, launches & promotions with the Key Customers.
- Be actively involved in the Demand Forecasting process, on a 3 to 12 month planning horizon.
- Work with Finance & Trade Marketing to ensure sanctity in budget management, accounts receivables, reconciliations etc.
Qualifications And Skills:
- Minimum 5 years in Sales, with at least 3 years in Modern Trade.
- Multi-sku/multi brand sales experience in local market.
- Experience in B2C Modern Trade (FMCG / Fashion / CDIT).
- Understanding of Modern Trade structure and operating model.
- Ability to dissect a business into sub-categories and identify suitable drivers for growth.
- Develops effective business relationships and manages difficult people effectively to convert opportunities into incremental revenue.
- Ability to use influencing and negotiating skills to achieve results (both internally and externally).
- Keen understanding of consumer / shopper triggers to design interventions aimed at driving offtake at the point of sale.
- Self-motivated & comfortable with Individual Contributor roles.
- Results-oriented & good at multi-tasking.
- Proactive in different situations, strives for continuous improvement.
- Flexible in handling change and comfortable working independently.
- Good communicator (written and verbal) including active listening ability.
- Outstanding analytical skills, strong experience in interpreting results and drawing conclusions.
- Strong ability to translate & present organisational strategies & priorities into customer-focused roadmaps & actionables.
- Comfortable with significantly complex product line & variety in sales channels.
