Role Overview: We are looking for a hands-on, results-driven Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will have experience in performance marketing, brand storytelling, and digital engagement while also being adept at transforming a young, talented team into a focused, high-performing unit. You will be responsible for ensuring each prize campaign reaches the right audience while aligning with Royong’s broader mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a cohesive marketing and brand strategy for Royong.
  • Oversee and optimize multi-channel marketing efforts, including digital, social media, influencer marketing, email, and paid advertising.
  • Tailor marketing strategies for different prize campaigns, ensuring they resonate with the right audiences.
  • Provide strong leadership, mentorship, and structure to a growing marketing team, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
  • Work closely with leadership to refine Royong’s brand positioning and messaging.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, adjusting strategies for maximum impact and ROI.
  • Identify and implement growth opportunities, including partnerships, sponsorships, and PR initiatives.
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice, storytelling, and customer engagement across all campaigns.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing leadership, preferably in e-commerce, crowdfunding, charity fundraising, or digital platforms.
  • Proven track record in performance marketing, audience segmentation, and digital acquisition.
  • Strong understanding of the Malaysian market and ability to adapt marketing strategies for different campaigns and target audiences.
  • Experience leading and managing teams, fostering alignment, and driving performance.
  • Hands-on expertise in paid digital marketing (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, TikTok, etc.) and influencer partnerships.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for social impact and a need to make a difference via meaningful work.
