This role will be responsible for driving growth and revenue by identifying and securing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships. This role will play a vital role in expanding its market presence in Malaysia

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities to meet revenue objectives.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth in existing and new markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Identify and establish partnerships with banks, financial institutions, and other potential referral sources to enhance the company’s business pipeline.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement joint initiatives.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Participate in product pitches, presentations, and negotiations with prospective clients.
  • Work closely with Business Development Director and Sales Consultants to meet the referral needs of our partners in Malaysia.
  • Interact with and build solid relationships with bankers and branch managers of our partners.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of insurance products and the brokerage industry is highly preferred.
