iMotorbike is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Parts Controller to manage and oversee the inventory of motorcycle parts, ensuring efficiency in stock control, procurement, and distribution. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate records, coordinate with suppliers, and support the operations team to optimize inventory levels while ensuring timely availability of parts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimal stock levels, track inventory movement, and ensure accurate record-keeping in the system.
  • Parts Procurement: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source quality motorcycle parts at competitive prices.
  • Stock Auditing: Conduct regular stock checks, audits, and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Order Fulfillment: Process parts requests, prepare orders, and ensure timely delivery to service teams or customers.
  • Supplier Coordination: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate pricing, and manage lead times.
  • Quality Control: Inspect parts upon arrival to ensure they meet company standards and report any discrepancies.
  • Data & Reporting: Generate inventory reports, analyze stock movement, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Operational Support: Work closely with the operations and service teams to ensure smooth workflow and minimize downtime due to parts shortages.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all inventory practices align with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in inventory control, parts management, or a similar role (preferably in the automotive/motorcycle industry).
  • Strong knowledge of motorcycle parts, components, and supply chain processes.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills for supplier management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking.
