Responsibilities

1.Project Management:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle for Workday HCM initiatives, including scope definition, task planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation such as project plans, status reports, and risk/issue logs.
  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, ensuring timely communication of risks, issues, and changes in project scope.
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks or potential risks, proposing mitigation strategies and ensuring project objectives are met on time and within budget.

2.Workday HCM Solution Design & Delivery:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical workstreams to understand business requirements and translate those requirements into scalable and sustainable technical solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance for incremental additions of new Workday HCM features, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Lead design efforts for integrations, reports, customizations, and overall platform architecture for Workday HCM.
  • Offer best practices on technical design and implementation to ensure robust and efficient solutions.

3.Technical Expertise & Support:

  • Participate in solution delivery and ongoing operational support activities for the Workday HCM platform.
  • Provide hands-on assistance in complex troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution of Workday-related issues.
  • Lead cross-team efforts to maintain and verify security policies and controls for Workday solutions.

4.Risk & Issue Management:

  • Identify and assess technical risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation plans as needed.
  • Monitor changes, dependencies, and potential conflicts within project scope, ensuring proactive communication and resolution.

5.Stakeholder Communication:

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders, end-users, and all levels of management.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and workshops, gathering input and feedback to drive project deliverables.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in technical, business, or financial discipline (Workday certifications preferred).
  • Proven consultative skills to guide client and internal discussions to a timely agreement on solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering complex business solutions under tight deadlines.
  • Project Management: Experience planning, managing, and delivering technical projects or implementations, preferably in HR or HRIS environments.
  • Able to prioritize and organize increasingly complex work to ensure overall timeliness and quality standards.
  • Ability to adapt to frequent change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exhibits strong problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting and effective escalation when necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex messages and requirements clearly.
