About the Role
At BoomGrow, our Sales Development Team is at the core of driving impact, innovation, and strategic growth. As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll play a pivotal role in building our future by developing meaningful partnerships, shaping compelling narratives, and executing initiatives that drive business expansion.
Your Impact
Our Sales Development team spreads across the region and plays a critical role in BoomGrow's revenue growth and expansion strategy. As part of this dynamic team, your mission will be to:
- Identify and nurture new business opportunities to increase BoomGrow’s footprint in high-potential markets.
- Build strategic partnerships with leading hospitality groups, distributors, and retailers, leveraging relationships to expand our network.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders – including product, marketing, and operations – to align sales strategies with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and research potential partners and clients within target industries using relevant tools and market insights.
- Outbound Prospecting: Conduct outreach activities to engage with decision-makers and sustainability champions.
- Lead Qualification: Assess leads to ensure alignment with BoomGrow’s ideal client profile, focusing on partners who can benefit from our solutions
- Lead Nurturing: Build and maintain meaningful relationships with prospects through consistent follow-ups to understand their challenges and sustainability goals.
- Scheduling Sales Meetings: Coordinate and schedule product demonstrations for qualified leads with the BoomGrow sales team, ensuring smooth movement through the sales pipeline.
By identifying high-potential partners and nurturing relationships, you will play a key role in helping BoomGrow expand its footprint and create meaningful impact in the world of sustainable culinary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Culinary or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience in F&B, Sales or Business Development will also be considered.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in sales, business development, or marketing, ideally within the hospitality or sustainability sectors.
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth through strategic partnerships.
- Experience with sales prospecting techniques such as cold calling, email outreach, and social engagement is highly valued.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across diverse industries and cultures.
- Data-driven mindset – comfortable using performance metrics and market data to inform decisions.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a strategic, forward-thinking approach to developing solutions and partnerships.
- Proficiency in English is required for cross-team collaboration. Fluency in regional languages and dialects (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese, Bahasa Malaysia, or Tamil) is a plus for building deeper relationships in local markets
