As the Product Lead for the Mobile Banking Platform, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management and strategic development of our mobile banking solutions. Your primary focus will be to enhance the customer experience, ensuring our mobile platform is at the forefront of digital banking innovation. You will lead a cross-functional team to deliver cutting-edge features that align with our customers' needs and the bank's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Product Strategy & Vision:

  • Develop and articulate a clear product vision and roadmap for the Mobile Banking Platform, aligned with the bank's long-term goals.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities in mobile banking.
  • Define product KPIs and success metrics, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives.

2.Product Development & Management:

  • Lead the product lifecycle from ideation through launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery of new features and updates.
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, engineers, and data analysts to create intuitive, user-friendly mobile banking experiences.
  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that user stories and requirements are clearly defined and communicated to the development team.
  • Oversee the testing, deployment, and iteration of the mobile platform, leveraging customer feedback and analytics to drive improvements.

3.Collaboration:

  • Work closely with marketing, sales, customer support, and other departments to ensure product alignment and cohesive go-to-market strategies.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned with the product vision and goals.

4.Customer Focus & Experience:

  • Champion the voice of the customer, ensuring that the mobile banking platform meets and exceeds customer expectations.
  • Utilize customer insights, feedback, and analytics to inform product decisions and prioritize features that enhance user satisfaction.
  • Drive initiatives to improve customer onboarding, engagement, and retention through the mobile platform.

5.Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and technological advancements, continuously seeking ways to innovate and enhance the mobile banking experience.
  • Identify opportunities for new features, functionalities, and partnerships that can expand the platform’s capabilities.
  • Lead the exploration and implementation of emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and biometrics to improve the platform.

6.Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure the mobile banking platform adheres to all regulatory requirements and industry standards in Malaysia.
  • Work with legal, compliance, and risk management teams to address any potential issues and maintain the highest levels of security and compliance.

Job Requirements & Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA or relevant master’s degree is advantageous.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years leading mobile banking or fintech products.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful mobile products in a fast-paced, agile environment. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing digital payments in Malaysia.
  • Deep understanding of mobile UX/UI principles and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira).
