About The Role

The Senior Product Executive will drive product development, marketing strategies, and lifecycle management for healthcare and slimming products. This role focuses on market research, supplier coordination, regulatory compliance, and promotional planning to ensure successful product launches and performance. The ideal candidate combines strong organizational skills, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience in product and marketing management.

What You Will Do

1. New Product Development (NPD)

  • Lead the development and execution of assigned NPD projects within the healthcare and slimming categories.
  • Collaborate with existing and potential suppliers to identify potential formulations/products, conducting market research and generating product requirements.
  • Oversee specifications, sensory and efficacy testing, production timetables, pricing, and integrated product launch plans.
  • Develop and review product label content, claims, and packaging designs, ensuring regulatory compliance and strong branding for recall value.
  • Providing necessary details for marketing collateral for product launches, including newsletters, brochures, infographics, training materials & social media content
  • Proofread translations and validate design layouts for accuracy.
  • Liaise with suppliers, Regulatory Affairs, Purchasing, and other internal departments for overseas orders and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Product Supply Agreements and Trademark License Agreements, negotiating terms with suppliers, trademark owners, and Legal departments.

2. Product Management

  • Monitor and liaise with suppliers for price adjustments and negotiate for optimal pricing and minimum order quantities (MOQs).
  • Conduct inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels at warehouses and stores, coordinating delivery schedules with suppliers.
  • Review and analyse monthly and ad-hoc promotion plans, preparing mechanics, forecasts, and cost analyses based on past performance and inventory levels.
  • Handle and resolve product-related quality issues, acting as a liaison between suppliers, Warehouse, Operations, Finance, Customer Care, and Store Operators, including external labs.
  • Address customer inquiries and provide product-related nutrition advice as needed.
  • Support roadshows, events, and health campaigns by performing health tests, explaining product benefits, and promoting relevant items.

3. Marketing Strategy & Coordination

  • Develop and execute marketing plans for new product introductions.
  • Collaborate with digital marketing teams to create timely social media posts, videos, and Facebook Live sessions.
  • Manage marketing activities, including promotion mechanics, forecasts, and budgeting for health observation days.
  • Prepare and conduct training sessions for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support promotional campaigns, training sessions, and other marketing initiatives to boost product visibility and engagement.

What You Should Have

  • A Bachelor’s Degree/Postgraduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Nutrition, Food Technology, Dietetics, Science, or related disciplines.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in product development, marketing, or related fields.
  • Computer literate with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with effective time management and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Resourceful, articulate, and mature with a good understanding of consumer trends, behaviors, and competitor intelligence.
