About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and meticulous individual for the role of an Investment Operation Graduate Intern. As a Graduate Intern, you will be reporting directly to the Manager of Operations and Finance. This role is suitable for final-year students or fresh graduates who is looking to gain hands-on experience in the capital market industry with the main focus on fund operations and reporting. Successful candidate may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time role, based on the candidate’s performance.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for calculating all Fund’s daily Net Asset Value (NAV) and ensure accurate data entry in the General Ledger (GL).
  • Assist in preparing and submitting various reports, such as fund valuation report, equity transaction report, fund fact sheets etc.
  • Reconcile cash balances and portfolio holdings to ensure consistent information against trustees’ record.
  • Maintain accurate records of portfolio transactions in the portfolio management system and relevant spreadsheets.
  • Manage data entry and filing for proper record-keeping.
  • Assist in updating daily fund prices on various avenues, ie: website.
  • Maintain and update investors’ database and portfolio holdings record.
  • Support client onboarding processes and assist with account-related inquiries.

Qualifications:

  1. Final-year student or fresh graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance or ACCA.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Able to demonstrate basic understanding in financial statements and interest capital markets.
  4. Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
  5. Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and eager to take on new tasks and challenges.
