Production Executive
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To ensure all production batches are manufactured in compliance with manufacturing instructions / procedures and quality specification.
- To coordinate with supply chain personnel and plan, schedule and control production manpower, production cycle time and manufacturing equipment to ensure production schedules are met with measurable productive performance and efficiency.
- To adhere to production golden rules and ensure availability of materials, equipment, and documentation before commencement of production.
- To ensure and maintain good housekeeping and 5S in production.
- To work with production team to ensure that production goals are being met. To maintain primary communication of performance goals and requirements as identified by Production Management.
- To assist in ensuring engineering & maintenance systems result in machine, equipment and tools are in good working order. Communicate with maintenance department regarding repair and preventive maintenance of machinery as required.
- Stop production and inform superior immediately if detect any abnormity and deviation that can cause impact to the identity, quality, purity and efficacy of product.
- To plan, organize, and make sure production resources are executed within budget.
- To supervise and provide daily support to the production shop floor staff on operational activities and issues.
- To ensures that production shop floor staffs are trained and capable of performing their jobs with knowledge, accuracy, and precision.
- To establish, review, maintain or improve the departmental standard operating procedures.
- To collect and analyze data and information to determine paths for process improvement and potential root cause/corrective actions in the case of exceptions.
- To prepare User Requirement System (URS) and perform Installation Qualification (IQ) / Operation Qualification (OQ) / Performance Qualification (PQ) and Process Validation (PV) as and when is needed.
- To carry out production or process changes upon approval, monitor and control the outcomes of the changes.
- To drive reduction in unplanned deviations and focuses on improving right first time.
- To plan, lead and execute self-inspection on cGMP compliance in manufacturing facilities with measurable compliance performance and efficiency.
- To attend, participate, and conduct meetings including cross-functional meetings when needed.
- To manage and review batch manufacturing record.
- To report to department manager on departmental issues, activities, and accomplishments.
Minimum Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science with 3 or more years of in production and/or quality control in a manufacturing operation.
- Diploma in Engineering with 5 or more years of experience in supervisory or executive in a production and/or quality control in a manufacturing operation.
- Demonstrate interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to interface well with other departments, and lead effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong professional writing skills and ability to prepare technical reports.
- Good in analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proficiency is required in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
