The role is to help the Company in performing the pricing analysis. The primary responsibilities include developing pricing tools, conducting pricing analysis for new products, and providing support to underwriters in all aspects of pricing, particularly for non-standard treaty and facultative contracts or onerous contracts.
Pricing
- Assist underwriters in new product pricing.
- Assist underwriters in insurance premium pricing reviews for treaty and facultative contracts (non standard and onerous contracts).
- Assist to develop the new pricing tool.
- Review the existing pricing tool.
Product Management
- Prepare dashboards and portfolios analyses for the underwriters and occasionally the Management Committee.
- Understand the basic terminologies in an insurance and reinsurance contract.
- Understand the features of reinsurance treaties.
- Understand the fundamentals and features of the class of businesses underwritten
MFRS 17 (ad hoc)
- Assist in the data preparation to fill up the required input template of MFRS 17 software
- Assist in streamlining and automating data preparation for the actuarial department
Requirements:
- A degree in Actuarial or Mathematics and must currently pursuing in actuarial professional qualification
- MUST have minimum 2 years working experience in general insurance actuarial pricing
