NOC SURVELLIANCES ENGINEER

Responsible to manage day to day surveillance activity in network operation center. Responsible on surveillance activities on MSC, SMSC, VLR, IN, CRBT, Transmission, RF and other VAS nodes. Support configuration management and implement configuration data changes for network resource.  Trainings in configuration management and database changes will be provided to incumbent Responsible for trouble ticket escalation and work order assignment.  EMS/NMS administration and acknowledgement of network alarms. Ensure alarms threshold and escalate to relevant parties to act on corrective of alarms detected. Conduct first level diagnostic in isolating and identifying fault location before escalating to field support team.  Classify type of faults based on severity of the problem. Support in generating network performance reports related to core and radio access network. Areas of responsibility in network media will be assigned according to job responsibility (I.e. Transmission, Radio and Core respectively). Support Network performance analysis and fault reporting.
