Production Supervisor / Supervisor

Assist the manager to ensure the smooth running of production operations during the shift. Assign work activities and schedules for Production Operators in his shift and supervising their implementation in relation to production. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. To ensure monthly production is effectively planned and executed, by considering the sales requirements, raw material availability, plant & machinery serviceability level, and consumables utilization etc. 2. To advise and to guide production team the path to improve work method, reduce bottleneck, improve productivity and reduce wastage. 3. Monitor and expedite work-in-progress and quality control of finished goods. 4. To assign works and to supervise subordinates/workers under guidelines from appropriate management and to instill good morale among the workforce. 5. To request necessary materials and stock replacement parts to ensure smooth operations. To furnish daily production summary accordingly. 6. To verify production team’s attendance, approve overtime and leave application of all factory workers. 7. To ensure high standard of housekeeping practice is maintained, i.e. the workplace remains clean and the safe use of equipment is well informed to promote a safe and conductive working environment. 8. To ensure safety and health measures are implemented effectively at workplace. 9. To oversee on-the-job training of apprentices and probationary workers. 10. Must have knowledge of heavy machine parts to attend breakdown and troubleshoot. 11.Monitor and control the productivity of ship operations running smoothly and safely. 12. To perform other relevant duties reasonably, whenever required.
