Job Title: AVP Special Projects/ Commercial Job Description: Railway Assets Corporation (RAC) seeks a dynamic and innovative Assistant Vice President (AVP) for Special Project/ Commercial. This pivotal role will drive strategic initiatives to maximize revenue from RAC's extensive portfolio of assets. The candidate will spearhead efforts to identify new business opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, and enhance the market presence of RAC in the transportation and real estate sectors. Key Responsibilities: Business Development: Identify and assess new business opportunities to leverage RAC's assets such as train stations, warehouses, rolling stock and buildings for sustainable revenue generation, while developing and implementing innovative strategies to maximize their utilization. Lead negotiations and build partnerships with potential tenants, investors, and stakeholders. Financial Analysis: Oversee the implementation of business development projects from start to finish, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure milestones and objectives are successfully met. Project Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector partners, and community organizations, while representing RAC at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. Qualification: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in business development, project management, rental/leasing or property development/management. Master's degree preferred. Proven track record in identifying and executing profitable business opportunities. Skill Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Experienced in stakeholder management Excellent project management and analytical abilities with proficiency in financial modelling and ROI analysis. Strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and drive change. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
