Senior Accounts Executive

Job: Senior Accounts Executive Industry: Food and Beverage Location: M.M.B. Marketing Company Sdn. Bhd. (Kuching, Sarawak), Batu 5, Jalan Penrissen Job Scope / Responsibilities: • Able to handle full set of accounts. • Ensure timely submission of full set of accounts and monthly financial reports. • Summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit, and loss statement, and other reports. • Liaise with external parties including auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, and government agencies etc. • To handle day to day administrative and operational activities and any ad-hoc duties as and when needed. • Prepare bank reconciliation as well for other reconciliation. • Complete general ledger operations. • Monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements. • Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts. • Assist with year-end closings. • Must be able to liaise with the auditors, bankers and government department when is required. • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts. • To handle asset accounts. • Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures. • Assist in preparing ad-hoc reports as and when required. Requirements: 1. Min 5 years of relevant working experience preferred & able to handle full set account. 2. Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Degree / CAT /ACCA or equivalent. 3. Required Language(s): Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia (able to speak in Mandarin is an advantage) 4. Required skills: Account Software (Auto Count), and Microsoft Office 5. Good Knowledge in Sales and service tax (SST). 6. Sound knowledge of Accounting Principles and Financial Reporting 7. Reconciles customer accounts, processes invoices, and resolves billing issues.
