BHD Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and proactive SHO Manager to oversee safety, health, and operational practices within our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HSE, with specific experience in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries and/or logistics, including warehouse operations. Role Overview: • Safety & Health Representative: Serves as the point of contact between the contractor and the company's HSE representative. • Ensure Compliance: Oversee that safety measures meet both company and Malaysian regulations. • Advise & Manage Safety: Provide guidance to management teams on safety, health, and environmental concerns. • Liaise with Authorities: Ensure compliance with statutory requirements through coordination with authorities. • Safety Monitoring: Oversee safety activities, conduct inspections, and ensure safety measures are maintained on-site. • Training & Investigations: Develop safety training, conduct investigations into incidents, and ensure proper record-keeping. Qualifications & Experience: • Experience: 5 years in the HSE field, with added experience in oil, gas, petrochemicals, or logistics. • Certification: Minimum of 3 years as a DOSH Registered SHO. • Educational Background: Degree or diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or related fields. • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with safety measures and legal requirements specific to the industry.
