HSES Manager

- Ensure alignment of HSES practices with Malaysian regulations, including Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), Department of Environment (DOE) Malaysia, and other relevant authorities. - Develop, implement, and monitor HSES policies, programs, and procedures to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations. - Develop and enforce HSE policies, ensuring workplace safety across mining, beneficiation plants, and port operations. - Oversee workplace safety practices across the mining site, beneficiation plant, and port operations. - Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments of equipment, processes, and facilities. - Oversee environmental compliance, including waste management, dust control, and effluent treatment. - Supervise the Senior Environment Officer and ensure compliance with environmental monitoring and reporting requirements. * Security Management - Responsible for overseeing the safety and security of personnel, assets, port and premises. - Oversee the port safety protocols implementation to follow the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code. - Implement security protocols, managing security teams, conducting risk assessments and responding effectively to incidents. - Stay updated on Malaysian HSE laws, guidelines, and industry standards. -Liaise with regulatory bodies such as DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety and Health) and DOE (Department of Environment). - Ensure all activities comply with local and international HSE standards, including OSHA, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.
