Minimum Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Instrument Engineering or equivalent with 7-10 years of Oil and Gas experience, including 2-4 years in a supervisory role. Hazardous Area Awareness: Knowledge of hazardous area classifications and requirements, ensuring safety during spark-generating activities. Training & Development: Responsible for training subordinates and promoting a high safety awareness. Instrumentation Systems: Proficient in company’s instrumentation control systems, including alarm/trip systems, and capable of troubleshooting and rectifying issues. Process & Control Knowledge: Strong understanding of process control systems and fault diagnosis. Coordination: Liaise with other disciplines’ design teams for coordinated and safe installations. Technical Skills: Able to interpret control loop diagrams, P&IDs, electronic schematics, and tune process controllers. Compliance: Familiar with company standards (DEPs), HSE standards, and Permit to Work (PTW) systems. Equipment Troubleshooting: Skilled in troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining various systems (PLC, DCS, fire and gas, relay logic, etc.). Work Planning: Manage site and office workload planning, and prepare work packs. Communication: Proficient in spoken and written English. Network & Telecommunication: Competent with routers, hubs, firewalls, OPC servers, PI, and network documentation. Certifications: Trained in Swagelok tube fitting, QMI analyser troubleshooting, and PTW Applicant training.
