Must be a Green Book holder (Safety & Health Officer) Experienced in Railway is a bonus point. · Plan, lead, control and monitor HSE on the Project site · Plan, prepare and organize training for the staff and workers. · Attendance of meetings at Headquarters as and when required · Carry out site safety inspections weekly. · Ensure that all works are executed in accordance with all safety rules and regulations. · Ensure and inspect/monitor that all plants have the necessary certifications for work on the site · Ensure and inspect/monitor that all plants/equipment operatives have the necessary qualifications and certifications for operating the said plants/equipment. · Ensure and inspect/monitor that all relevant permits are in place to allow works to proceed such as hot work permit, lifting permit, HIRARD / JSA, STARRT, PTW, PICOW CHECKLIST other relevant permit etc. · Monitor and check all electrical equipment are safe to use · Conduct regular Health and Safety inspections of the site works · Identification and implementation of corrective and preventative measures to reduces health and safety risks with regards to hazards. · Preparation of weekly, monthly HSE reports · Attendance of all Project and Project site meetings and discussions including digital communication conferencing, if required · Conduct meetings and discussions for coordination and planning with parties such as sub-contractors, suppliers, consultants and others · Preparation of minutes of meetings and discussions for record keeping and tracing · Assist the Project Teams in a full range of engagements from Project deployment to Project completion; · Providing effective leadership to staff to ensure compliance with project standards, processes and controls; · Any other duties assigned by Project Director, Senior Manager Operations from time to time
