TASK / DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES • Preparation and submission of budgetary estimates from tender drawings, Bill of Quantities for all disciplines and costs estimation, progress claim, variation order, evaluation of claims and final accounts; • To assist immediate superiors to prepare all the tender BQ, quotations, contract and sub-contract documents; • Attend site valuation, site measurement and regular meetings when necessary; • Reviews letter of award, contract drawings and document and to highlight any deviation from the tender; • Prepare and analyse project costings such as materials, quantities, labour and time; • Quantity taking off and evaluation of variation order for Sub-Contractor and Client; • Taking off quantities, Request for Quotation and Award of Sub-contractor; • Advise purchaser on materials for procurement; • Checking discrepancy between actual measurement on site and drawing; • Monitoring all material on site, measure the actual quantity needed for project; • Review contract documents, forecast and budgeting procurement; • Check and verify claims from sub-contractors, and negotiation price with sub-contractors; • Able to source new & existing sub-contractors, vendors and suppliers for quotations; • To prepare work done certificate to sub-contractors in accordance to work certified by consultant and ensure work done certificate is tally with done at site; • Undertake cost analysis for rental, repair and maintenance project work; • Acquire quotation from contractor and suppliers for purpose of cost assessment, analysis or budgeting; • To assist in ensuring compliance to local authority regulations on project matters; • Identify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risks; • Analyse outcomes and write detailed progress reports; • Value completed work, oversee bills and arrange payments; • Maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use; • Assist in project matters on contractual issues and any other contracts administration duties related to QS; • To undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties as and when required. REQUIREMENT • Candidate must possess a Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying • Minimum 3 years related working experience such as in infrastructure • Required languages(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English • Able to take handle pressure for on-site & workers matters • Able to work under tight timeline and ability to multi-tasking • Applicants must be computer literate • Able to read and comprehend construction drawings • Workplace: Selangor or Seremban, Negeri Sembilan
