The CNC Machinist will be responsible for producing precision parts and components by reading and interpreting blueprints, programming, and executing machine operations. Key Responsibilities: • Set up and operate CNC machines (e.g., mills, lathes) to manufacture complex parts according to specifications. • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. • Program CNC machines using G-code or CAM software. • Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure they meet quality standards. • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure proper functioning. • Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime. • Collaborate with team members to ensure that production goals and deadlines are met. • Adjust machine settings and tool paths based on feedback and quality control checks. • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment. • Strong knowledge of CNC machines, tools, and equipment. • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. • Experience with G-code programming and CAM software. • Ability to use precision measuring instruments to ensure part quality. • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining or a related field is a plus. Skills: • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Excellent time management and organizational skills. • Strong communication skills. Physical Requirements: • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, chemicals, and machinery.
