Job Description: We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Executive to manage the recruitment and selection activities, as well as staff movement activities, of the company and its subsidiary companies. Responsibilities: - Coordinating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs. - Assists in managing the entire recruiting cycle from the time the requisition is received to the time the candidate is on-boarded, which include resourcing, pre-screening and interviewing candidates, negotiating compensation package, conducting reference checks, preparing and finalizing job offers, and onboarding the new employee. - Sourcing potential candidates through various channels /platform such as online channels job portal, social media platforms, referrals, professional networks or recruitment agencies (if required for certain position upon approval by the management) and etc. - Screens applications/CVs and helps hiring managers to select qualified talented candidates. - Proactively source, engage, pre-screen, interview and assess candidates. Conducts phone interviews as and when necessary, as part of the candidate pre-screening process. Schedules and coordinates interviews with all shortlisted candidates. - Liaise with hiring managers to identify interview evaluation criteria and competencies - To conduct selected candidate background & MACC check pre hiring. - Negotiates compensation package with selected candidate based on the mandate given. - Obtains approval for the job offer proposals, prepares letter of appointment, finalize job commencement date with the candidate. - Conducts new employee Induction program to ensure employees gain an understanding of the terms and conditions of employment, company policies, code of practice, rules and regulations and corporate culture. - Partners with colleges and universities in order to attract top notch students and graduates. - Assist in managing the talent management programs, which include the Graduate Trainee Program & Internship program. - Supports and coordinates the development of the Graduates Trainees and interns, ensuring that their wellbeing is monitored and building strong relationships with them, to act as a source of support and guidance. - Process employee transfers, resignations and retirements on a timely basis. - Process employee fixed term contract renewal and end of contract notification. - Develops, updates and maintains Job Descriptions and Organization Charts. - Conducts exit interviews. - To undertake other duties and responsibilities as instructor by superior(s) from time to time. - To comply with applicable legal and other requirements. Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field. - Minimum 3 years of experience in talent management / recruitment. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge in mandarin is essential as this candidate need to communicate with expatriates from China. - Possess a high degree of professionalism, judgment and discretion in handling confidential information. - Experienced in recruiting expatriates and foreign labor for a labor-intensive industry is an added advantage. - Ability to work independently, self-initiative and build strong productive partnerships with stakeholders, candidates and HR colleagues - Good interpersonal skills. - Strong follow-up skills and ability to interact with management. - Expertise in various sourcing tools/channels with strong research and candidate generation skills. - Must be proactive, well-organized, meticulous and possesses eye for details. - Must be social media savvy. - Proficient in MS Office applications.
