Job Summary The Customer Service & Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling transactions accurately, and ensuring a smooth dining experience for customers. This role involves greeting guests, taking orders, processing payments, and maintaining a clean and organized cashier station. Key Responsibilities 1. Customer Service Greet customers warmly upon arrival and provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Assist guests with menu inquiries and offer recommendations when needed. Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary. Ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction through prompt and courteous service. 2. Cashiering & Transactions Accurately process customer payments via cash, credit/debit cards, or digital payment methods. Issue receipts and handle refunds or exchanges in accordance with company policy. Maintain a balanced cash register and report any discrepancies to the manager. Follow proper procedures for closing and reconciling the cashier system at the end of the shift. 3. Order Taking & Coordination Take customer orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy in food and beverage selections. Coordinate with the kitchen staff and baristas to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Manage takeaway and delivery orders, ensuring correct packaging and labeling. 4. Cleanliness & Organization Keep the cashier area, counters, and dining area clean and tidy. Restock necessary items such as napkins, cutlery, and condiments. Follow hygiene and food safety standards set by the restaurant. 5. Sales & Promotions Inform customers about ongoing promotions, discounts, and special menu items. Upsell and suggest add-ons to increase sales and enhance customer experience. Assist in maintaining promotional materials and displays at the cashier counter. Requirements ️ Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent (Diploma in Hospitality is a plus). ️ Previous experience in F&B, customer service, or cashiering preferred. ️ Basic math skills and ability to handle cash & digital transactions. ️ Able to communicate in English. ️ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude. ️ Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and public holidays.
