Job Scope • Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental management. • Manage, establish & monitor all HSE related activity inclusive of training records & updates & etc. • Assist in preparing HSE related procedures and policies. • Prepare and submit HSE report on daily basis. • Chairing Health & Safety Committee Meeting on quarterly basis. • Schedule and conduct emergency drill on quarterly basis. • Observe HSE regulations, wears all required safety equipment, encourages safe working practices, housekeeping, corrects obvious hazards, immediately or reports them to the proper personnel/HOD. • Identify hazard, perform risk assessment and record properly. • Identify the hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace, conduct & coordinate onsite inspections. Site safety checklist / Findings to be recorded into UCUA form to be filed properly. • Conduct daily safety toolbox briefing for Technical & Operation staffs before operation and when required. (Safety talk, safety issue, Info sharing and PPE needed). • Conduct audit of Contractor before operation or when required. • Conduct site visit inspection at workshop / on site when necessary. • Conduct inspection for first aid kit and fire safety equipment on monthly basis. • To conduct monthly Security guard training by carry out inspection for genset, portable water pump, fire hydrant and fire extinguisher. • Carry out HSE briefing for all new joiner, crew for every incoming vessel and visitors • Raise Incident/ Accident Report when necessary. • Carry out inspection for all company’s vehicles and record properly. • Check and monitor company’s vehicles road tax and insurance coverage on monthly basis. Information to be recorded and updated on timely manner. • Monitor and arrange for DOSH/PMA Permit renewal for Company’s Lorry upon expired. • To be present at site and supervise every lifting, bunkering operation. Safety checklist to be recorded properly, for every operation done. • Liaison with other division and department regarding HSE matters. • To update HSE performance Statistic on Monthly basis. • To update HIRARC on every new activity. • To involve in contractor/sub-contractor audit, annual close out and meetings. • Assist in the compliance of applicable laws and regulations. • Others duties will be assigned by superior or by any other person appointed by the Company from time to time. • Assist on compliance for tender submission • Monitor, evaluate HSE performance and record in HSE Performance Statistic. • Lead implement of OHSAS 18001:2007 standard requirement and to ensure all requirement are followed by all personnel. • Ensure the whole organization to fulfill HSE Policy. • Responsibility to update all information regarding OHSAS 18001:2007 new regulations or requirements. Qualification Required • Minimum Diploma with 3 year(s) relevant working experience • Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety • Possess at least DOSH Yellow Book. • Understanding of Integrated Management System of ISO 9001 & OHSAS 18001 standard requirements
