Planning Material Control (PMC) Engineer

• Material Planning & Control: Develop material procurement plans based on production requirements and schedules, ensuring timely material supply while maintaining appropriate inventory levels. • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and analyze inventory data to ensure materials are available without excess, avoiding production delays or stockpiling. • Cross-department Coordination: Work closely with production, procurement, logistics, and warehousing departments to ensure smooth material flow and resolve any material-related issues that arise during production. • Material Demand Forecasting: Use production schedules and historical data to forecast material demand, adjust purchasing plans and inventory strategies accordingly. • Material Shortage Management: Track material shortages during production, take appropriate actions to prevent production stoppages due to material shortages. • Supply Chain Optimization: Propose and implement material control and supply chain management improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. • Data Analysis & Reporting: Regularly analyze material consumption, inventory turnover, and production plan execution, providing reports to support decision-making. • Quality & Compliance: Ensure all materials meet quality standards and comply with company regulations, and conduct regular checks on suppliers and materials for compliance. • Cost Control: Manage material procurement and inventory costs, optimize resource usage to help reduce overall production costs.
