Job Descriptions To responsible for design and overseeing sales programs within the company and acts as the team leader for project sales teams and ensures professional development of the team. To establish all the technical procedures, documentations and standard policies and conduct reviews on a regular basis. When it comes to complicated technical problems that may arise, the technical sales manager should be able to make the right decisions on which solutions to implement and makes a decision on what is best for the company, whether it may be cost or length of resolution. To ensure that the team performs within set technical guidelines by providing the set Standard Operating Procedures and to assigns each team member specific tasks and oversees their performance. To assesses rewards and coaches technical sales professionals within the organization and provides support to front line sales people overseeing presentations, technical support together with customer presentations. To conducts regular meetings with the team, whether as a whole or through one-on-one discussions. To provide each team member an objective or goal that he will monitor progress or status on throughout the year. He then conducts performance reviews of team members and gives them feedback, as well as makes promotion recommendations or salary increases if and when applicable. To negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs. To manage and verify client quotations and administering client accounts. To meet overall company sales target and prepare strategy planning for all project related sales activities. To be responsible for providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and after-sales support services. To be responsible for all levels of tasks such as troubleshooting and resolving technical problems. To be responsible for analysis of costs of sales and monthly performance analysis. To prepare Monthly Management Reports. To meets with senior management regularly and gives them his monthly and annual reports, which include his team's performance, budgets and project status. To identify and determine the visit of foreign trade shows, conferences and other marketing events; To ensure all the product technical presentations is prepared by the team and ensure our door products meet client needs and expectation. To liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts; helping in the design of custom-made products; To provide on-going technical training and coaching to the sales team and other members and ensure all the supporting material is produced to meet the expectation internally and externally. Requirements Must possess a bachelor's degree preferably in a technically related field. Most professionals holding this position possess a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering or business management. Candidate with in depth experience in wood engineering and related field will be given first preference. Good command in English and other foreign language skills may give you an advantage over other applicants. Min 10 years working experience any wood working or wood joinery products will be preferred. Have min 5 years in dealing with wooden doors or wooden joinery products to project sector Must also have prior experience in a sales or marketing managerial position. Furthermore, a technical sales manager must have be familiar with a wide range of technologies which related to timbers. Must have good inter-personal and communication skills as the job entails developing and maintaining relationships with partners, customers, peers as well as the sales and marketing team. A strong leadership skill is a plus and a technical sales manager must also be a self- starter. Sales skills and technical knowledge is mandatory as he will be responsible for holding presentations and customer discussions. Candidates will need to show evidence of the following: a solid technical background in wood product; sales skills with client sale in respective region; exceptional good communication skills; sound judgment and good business sense; good organizational skills; good team working ability; the ability to build relationships quickly and effectively; analytical and problem-solving skills; resilience and tenacity; Independence and self-reliance.
