Safety & Security Officer

Job Scope Summary: To assist in planning, implementing and managing the Security & Safety system of the hotel and to Safeguard the physical well-being of its property, Employees and guests achieving satisfaction for all Concerned while adhering to standards required by the hotel. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure security personnel follow assigned work schedules and assist in smooth department operations, especially in the absence of the Director of Security & Safety. 2. Maintain proper incident records, notify the Director of serious incidents, and take immediate action during emergencies. 3. Collaborate with all departments on security matters, including routine employee parcel checks and inspections. 4. Assist in investigations of fire incidents, theft, and accidents, providing timely reports to the Director. 5. Supervise security personnel, maintain discipline, and ensure adherence to hotel rules and regulations. 6. Conduct surprise inspections of employee lockers with HR and daily spot checks on key registers and control room records. 7. Monitor hotel premises, work areas, and guest spaces to uphold safety and security standards. 8. Report property deficiencies and safety hazards while ensuring order is maintained within the hotel premises. 9. Assist in yearly inspections (e.g., Bomba, DOSH, Health Department) and any additional tasks assigned by the Director.
