OPERATION SUPERVISOR

Job Summary: The Operations Supervisor at the Express Bus Department is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of express bus services, ensuring efficiency, safety, and excellent customer service. This role involves coordinating schedules, managing staff, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily bus operations to ensure punctuality and efficiency. Monitor and manage driver schedules, ensuring optimal route coverage. Conduct routine inspections and enforce safety regulations for buses and personnel. Handle and resolve customer complaints and inquiries in a timely manner. Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure buses are in proper working condition. Train and mentor drivers and operational staff to maintain service quality and compliance. Prepare operational reports and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement. Ensure adherence to local transport regulations and company policies. Collaborate with management to develop strategies for service enhancements and operational efficiency. Respond to emergency situations, coordinating with relevant authorities when necessary. Qualifications & Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Transportation, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 1 years of experience in transportation or fleet operations, preferably in public transit. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using scheduling and fleet management software. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively. Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays as required. Preferred Skills: Experience in customer service management within the transportation industry Strong analytical skills for operational improvement and efficiency.
