Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales & Business Development Manager to lead our growth initiatives across Malaysia within the Machine Tool & Automation Industry. This strategic role is designed for a dynamic individual who can drive revenue growth, expand market share, and develop high-impact client relationships across key industries, including manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and electronics. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Sales Planning: • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share and achieve revenue growth targets. • Drive clear objectives, KPIs, and action plans aligned with business goals. 2. Business Development: • Proactively identify and engage potential clients across target industries such as manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, electronics, and other related sectors. • Win new customers in high-potential markets and penetrate competitor accounts. 3. Client Relationship Management: • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with both existing and new clients. • Understand client needs, providing tailored solutions through consultative selling approaches. 4. Market Research & Competitive Analysis: • Conduct in-depth market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and client requirements. • Identify growth opportunities and competitive advantages to inform sales strategies. 5. Solution Development & Technical Collaboration: • Work closely with technical, engineering, and application teams to develop customized solutions. • Present and demonstrate products, highlighting value propositions and ROI for clients. 6. Sales Presentations & Proposal Management: • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations. • Develop and submit detailed quotations, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business objectives. 7. Contract Negotiation & Deal Closure: • Lead negotiations on contracts, pricing, and commercial terms to secure profitable deals. • Ensure successful deal closures while balancing client satisfaction and company profitability. 8. Sales Target Achievement: • Consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs. • Implement action plans to address gaps and maximize sales performance. 9. Cross-Functional Collaboration: • Collaborate with internal teams including service, technical, and operations to ensure seamless order fulfilment and customer satisfaction. • Coordinate with distributors and partners to align sales strategies and market representation. 10. Sales Reporting & Forecasting: • Provide regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and performance analyses to management. • Track and maintain up-to-date sales activities, customer interactions, and business development metrics. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of sales and business development experience, preferably in machine tools, automation, or industrial solutions. • Strong track record in achieving sales targets and driving business growth. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market research and competitive analysis. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. • Willingness to travel extensively across Malaysia.
