Position Overview We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to oversee financial planning, budgeting, cost analysis, and reporting for our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in monitoring financial performance, optimizing costs, and supporting strategic decision-making to improve profitability and efficiency. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Develop financial models, forecasts, and budgets for manufacturing operations. Monitor and analyze key financial metrics, including revenue, expenses, and profitability. Conduct variance analysis to compare actual financial performance against forecasts and budgets. Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making. 2. Cost Analysis & Control Analyze cost structures, including raw materials, labor, and overhead costs. Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising product quality or production efficiency. Work closely with operations and procurement teams to optimize spending. Identify opportunities for waste reduction and process improvements. 3. Financial Reporting & Compliance Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management. Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial data and documentation. Maintain accurate financial records related to inventory, production costs, and capital expenditures. 4. Investment & Capital Expenditure (CapEx) Management Evaluate capital investment projects (e.g., new machinery, plant expansions). Conduct ROI and break-even analysis for proposed investments. Assist in securing financing and preparing investment justifications. 5. Risk Management & Process Improvement Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies. Improve financial processes and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Utilize ERP systems to streamline financial operations and reporting. Requirements & Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA) or CFA/CPA certification is a plus. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors. Strong understanding of cost accounting and production finance. Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis. Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.). Knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and capital budgeting. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and senior leadership. Preferred Certifications (Not Mandatory) Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Cost & Management Accountant (CMA)
