The Procurement Operations Support Specialist (POS-S) is required to:
- assists the parties involved in the procurement activities - like stakeholders, buyers and vendors - with questions and problems concerning procurement policies, processes, data and
systems.
- expertly recommends the AIR LIQUIDE users on the "best buy" solutions (catalogues, punch outs, contracted vendors) or, on the most appropriate and compliant negotiation path.
- empower the AIR LIQUIDE users for them to navigate the procurement landscape and maximize company efficiency.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

1. Respond to inquiries related to S2P (Source To Pay)

  • Record inquiries received via Google Form, SNOW, EPIC, phone, email or chat

  • Understand the nature of the inquiry and assess the level of criticality, escalate if necessary

  • Refer to the related referential documents (i.e.: Policies, Guidelines, SOPs etc...) to respond to the inquiry, re-assign or escalate if necessary

  • Follow up with the requester until resolution SLA (working hours or working days) related to the nature of the demand

2. Proactively monitor and resolve S2P (Source To Pay) issues

  • Analyse data from multiple applications (i.e.: PowerBI, RPA Report, EPIC) related to the S2P (Source To Pay) documents (i.e.: PRs, POs etc...) or process flow (Order Acknowledgement, On Time Delivery etc...)

  • Identify potential issues that require attention while also assessing the criticality

  • Resolve the issue and/or contact the team in charge to rectify the issue

  • Communicate with the parties involved (users/vendors/procurement partner)

3. Manage and recommend buying channels

  • Analyse the assigned Sourcing and Quotation Request (SQR) or Purchase Request (PR) to recommend the best buying channel (PR, catalogues, punchout)

  • Re-assign the Sourcing and Quotation Request (SQR) or Purchase Request (PR) to the dedicated negotiation team after analysis

  • Assist Local Sourcing Specialist, Group IT Procurement and Category Manager to create and update catalog item and contract in EPIC

  • Support the e-RFx lifecycle (from start to end) on behalf of the buyers for large tenders

4. Manage and recommend buying channels

  • Support procurement partners to create contract and catalog item in COUPA from the template provided

  • Troubleshoot issues encountered during catalog item creation

5. Training and compliance surveillance

  • Provides trainings on procurement framework (i.e.: policies, guidelines, SOPs, systems) to improve daily S2P (Source To Pay) operations

  • Monitor compliance (e.g.: split PRs, PO After the fact etc...) to ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times

6. Supplier data creation and maintenance

  • Monitor incoming request from Service Now on data creation and/or data maintenance request

  • Perform simple risk assessment via KD Prevent

  • Collect documentation from third party as a supporting document for data creation/maintenance

  • Review documentation provided by the third party

  • Perform data entry in the ORACLE based on provided supporting documents

  • Submit request in ORACLE for approval

Are you a MATCH?

  • The background should enable him/her to support source to pay (S2P). Background in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science will be a plus in understanding the technical items and the digitalization initiatives within procurement.

  • Experience in procurement operations (P2P), as a Buyer and Service Desk

  • Proficient in English and Korean languages at business level.

  • Good at data analysis and able to provide recommendations from the data studies.

  • The successful candidate may also be in charge of the export-import related tasks.

  • It is key that the successful candidate is keen to adapt to the various digital tools that we will be deployed in Air Liquide Group (PowerBI, EPIC, JavaScript & Automation Anywhere)

  • Asides from the mentioned technical skills, the successful candidate should have cumulated significant experience in multi-cultural management, providing significant results in his/her organization.

  • Due to the multiple stakeholders that the successful candidate will deal with, excellent communication skills, self reliant and ability to learn fast will be a key success factor.
