We are looking for project management leader to play a key role in leading projects, ensuring they meet business, schedule and budget objectives, and manage change in a systematic manner. He/she will focus on both the business and technical side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology.

This role is based in Malaysia but will most likely require some travel to our manufacturing locations and offices in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning

  • Responsible for planning and overseeing cross functional projects & NPDs across YHS operations from the initial ideation through to completion.
  • Take charge of internal communication to all relevant stakeholders, including preparing a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities, potential interdependencies, project tracking and provide regular reports on project status.
  • Identify project-specific potential risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to address engagement strategy and secure commitment with critical stakeholders to projects.
  • Conduct project reviews and clarification meetings and managing relationships with stakeholders.
  • Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.
  • Develop actionable and targeted change management plans and manage relevant stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement and Change Management

  • Work with multi-functional teams to identify and drive continuous process improvement through leadtime reduction, and drive for operational excellence and improve profitability.
  • Apply a structured change management approach and methodology.
  • Deliver effective change management support to ensure that change is successfully embedded and benefits delivered in all departments and functions of the organization
  • Manage communication of changes into the wider business which improves engagement and change acceptance.
  • Identify resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and implement corrective actions.
  • Use reinforcement mechanisms and celebrate success.
  • Integrate change management activities into the overall project plan.
  • Coordinate closely with the senior management team to ensure the key performance indicators for the transformational change are met and that benefits are driven through and sustained.

Requirements:

  • Strong degree qualification, at least 2-3 years of change management, implementation and business analysis experience with FMCG and/or F&B industry companies and proven results will be advantageous.
  • Product development, business systems, information management and/or built-environment project management experience highly regarded.
  • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SAP ECC, SAP S/4 Hana on cloud
  • Experience within an R&D, Supply Chain and Manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with sales/marketing is a plus.
  • Experience in project management tools (Monday.com, Esko, Power Automate, MS Project) is a plus
  • Strong stakeholder and supplier management experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels toward a common vision or goal.
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to mobilize, drive, intervene, prioritise and deliver against challenging deadlines.
  • Practical experience of process improvement techniques.
  • The ability to empathise with people going through a period of change.
  • Able to work independently and must be a fast learner.

Additional considerations

  • Familiarity with F&B industry is beneficial.
  • New Product Introduction and product life cycle management experience.
