Requirements: 1. Diploma/Degree in Relevant field (ex.Diploma in mechanical engineering/Diploma in plastic Engineering) 2. Min 8 years working experience hands on in plastic injection industries especially in precise engineering moulding products. 3. Familiar with international standard (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and good manufacturing practice. 4. Able to develop full blue print drawings and application of GD&T. 5. Proficient in mould design and development specialist software of at least 3 years’ experience in UNI GRAPHICS (NX 12/NX13/NX15) 6. Proficient and hands on in tooling making jobs thoroughly example: milling, grinding, EDM, laser welding, CNC programing (if have is preferable), polishing (normal & high gloss). 7. Understand of mould structure inclusive 2K Moulds, special feature like Beryllium Copper Handling, Cooling Channel (conformal), Hot Runner Selection. 8. Strong understanding in Short Cycle Time Mould, High Runner Mould, High Gloss Mould, Textured Mould and Corrosive Resin Mould. 9. Familiar with type of moulds in handling and fabrication (example: Automotive, Medical, 2K, super precision moulds, high gloss). Responsibilities 1. Understand the drawing and could consider the importance of part measurement characteristic during injection moulding process. 2. Understand PDCA Cycle in problem solving and able to implement relevant skill or QA skills especially for the injection moulding parameter, moulds, processes and etc. 3. Need to ensure the mould is correctly setup and all auxiliary equipment are enough and functioning well to support the mould requirement or its parameter needs. 4. Responsible and accountable on mould repair activities and ensure schedule is according to production schedule from planning. 5. Troubleshoot tooling problem in time and prevent from re-occurrence of the same issue. 6. Analysis the mould condition to predict weak point area and provide solution on this. Also capable to propose safety feature to ensure mould is well-protected and able to share this knowledge for other like technicians 7. Always have improvement mindset to enhance LEAN in management of moulds and injection moulding processes such as reduce rejection, waste and other unnecessary hidden cost. 8. Interpret the resin technical data sheet (TDS) and other technical data and use as guideline for parameter setting / trial. Need to familiar with commodity resin and engineering resin, prefer for those specialty resin. 9. Interpret 3D model and understand of mould structure to propose for overall improvement in moulding such as reduce cycle time, cut down rejection, increase efficiency, minimize waste and others. 10. Good personality to teach and guide the team to work towards same goal on timely manner. 11. Good in communicating and documentation to ensure improvement actions or troubleshooting.
