  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Title: Accountant - Fixed Assets

Location: Midvalley, Kuala Lumpur

Summary:

The Accountant - Fixed Assets is responsible for the accurate and timely accounting of the company's fixed assets. This includes maintaining the fixed asset register, recording fixed asset acquisitions and disposals, calculating depreciation and reconciling fixed asset balances.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring all fixed assets are properly recorded and tracked.

· Record fixed asset acquisitions and disposals in a timely and accurate manner.

· Calculate and record depreciation expense.

· Reconcile fixed asset balances to the general ledger.

· Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset reporting.

· Assist with fixed asset audits.

· Develop and maintain fixed asset accounting policies and procedures.

· Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations.

· Assist with other accounting duties as needed.

· Required to travel to the plant.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

· Min of 5 years of experience in fixed asset accounting

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

· Experience with fixed asset accounting software.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
