JOB SUMMARY
Your role as the Training Manger shall encompass the following core responsibilities where you will be reporting to the General Manager in the overall direction and performance of the Training Department. You will be tasked to ensure all staffs in the organization are well trained in their job role, adhere to the DOME standard and ultimately achieve career growth through the execution of effective training programs using various methods and training tools.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Confers with operations & other departments to identify & analyse training needs & requirements for the entire staff base of the company.
2. Plans, develops, & provides new training programs or modify on existing programs using various methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops for all staff and management level.
3. Develops and organizes training manuals, multimedia visual aids, & other educational materials.
4. Monitors staff performance by developing practical tests & evaluation papers as well as maintaining up-to-date record of staff trained.
5. Trains instructors on techniques and skills for training & evaluates their performance as well as the effectiveness of training programs while providing recommendations for improvement.
6. Manages & maintains the training room to ensure it is of the highest standard of cleanliness and organization and stocked with the necessary tools and equipment needed for specific training purpose.
7. Establishes, co-ordinates and evaluates apprenticeship programs and liaise with various educational bodies.
8. Conduct interviews for foreign new hires from the appointed foreign worker agency & rate them accordingly.
9. Prepare training budget & monitor the use of training budget effectively.
10. Perform other ad-hoc assignments & produce reports as required by the General Manager.
