Finance Manager

Job description: About the role We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our talented team at Bakers Maison (M) Sdn Bhd. As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and contributing to the strategic decision-making process. This is a full-time position based in Shah Alam, Selangor. What you'll be doing: - Manage the end-to-end accounting and financial reporting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial statements - Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making - Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, policies, and procedures - Analyse financial data and provide insights to the management team to drive informed business decisions - Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and controls - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and process improvements - Manage and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and development opportunities What we're looking for: - A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - At least 8 years of experience in a similar finance management role, preferably in the manufacturing or FMCG industry - ACCA certification is a must - Comprehensive knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and analysis - Proficient in using financial management software and tools - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines - Proven track record of leading and developing a finance team
