Job Purpose & Overview:

To conduct assessments on the effectiveness of training courses and initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement through evaluation methods, and supporting stakeholders by providing actionable recommendations to enhance training quality and outcomes.

Key Accountabilities:

Levy Collaboration

  • Foster partnerships with associations, government bodies, or agencies to explore innovative initiatives that maximise levy utilisation for broader impact.
  • Coordinate joint initiatives to address industry or national training needs that ensure effective and impactful use of funds through alignment of the Allowable Cost Matrix (ACM) with the latest training needs and industry requirements, supporting efficient and effective levy utilisation.
  • Gather insights into industry trends and stakeholder priorities to identify opportunities for impactful levy-funded initiatives.

Training Needs Alignment

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their training needs and collaborate on customised solutions aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Identify employers' training needs by analysing business profiles, ensuring alignment between grant applications and developmental objectives.
  • Promote relevant training programs by providing targeted information, encouraging participation in upskilling initiatives to enhance workforce productivity.

Training Grant Management

  • Coordinate the grant application process by collecting and reviewing submissions, ensuring accurate documentation to facilitate a smooth workflow.
  • Provide guidance to applicants by delivering clear instructions and constructive feedback, increasing the likelihood of successful submissions.

Employer Engagement

  • Communicate updates to employers on their application status by sharing timely and relevant information to enhance understanding of the process. Resolve application-related concerns by offering recommendations aligned with grant guidelines to maintain continuous engagement.

Reporting and Process Improvement

  • Prepare detailed reports on the progress and outcomes of grant applications, ensuring accurate documentation for internal review.
  • Provide input for process enhancements by sharing feedback and observations, implementing new procedures to streamline grant management operations.

Educational Qualification & Relevant Experience (skills & knowledge):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Accounting, or equivalent.
  • 1 – 5 years of relevant working experience with exposure to government agencies, regulators, and SMEs.
  • Willing to work at Damansara Heights.
